The Publications & Resources Committee (PRC), formerly the External Affairs Committee, has an open call for authors for HOPA News columns and related content. Authors work closely with editors from the PRC to prepare content for publication.
 
 

HOPA News columns include:

  • Cover/Feature Articles
  • Clinical Controversies
  • Clinical Pearls
  • Focus on Patient Care
  • Highlights of Member Research
  • Late-breaking Research
  • Precision Oncology
  • Quality Initiatives
  • Reflection on Personal Growth and Impact
  • The Resident's Cubicle
  • Summaries of Allied Organization Meetings
 
 
Article length varies.
 
 
 

Requirements:

  • HOPA Member in good standing
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Comfortable following AMA style guide
  • Previous writing experience preferred
  • Preferred, but not required: Comfortable sharing HOPA content with your professional network (for example, on LinkedIn)
 
 
 

Disqualification:

Articles must be your original work; plagiarism, even if unintentional, is not tolerated.
