    Hi All,

One thing I've struggled with recently is what meeting best caters to disease state specialists, as many of the conferences I historically attended have become increasingly less relevant to my daily practice. I had the opportunity to attend TTLC (targeted therapies in lung cancer) meeting a few weeks ago, which is not a conference I had on my radar until one of my oncologists asked if I was going to go. I will say after attending that meeting - I found it to be tremendously informative for me at my current place in practice, and thought I would use this opportunity to share some other upcoming lung-cancer specific meetings in case others may be in a similar situation.

Most immediately Texas Lung Cancer Conference will be happening from 4/9 - 4/11 and is still open to registration for those interested: 2026 Texas Lung Cancer Conference | IASLC

Additionally - there are other conferences put on by IASLC throughout the year which may be good to attend (e.g. North America Conference on Lung Cancer in December): Search Upcoming Conferences & Webinars | IASLC. Anyway - figured I would share these resources for anyone else who may find this helpful as this is an area where I'm learning more myself!

Thanks, Kevin, for bringing up this topic.

I have attended TTLC virtually in the past and do agree that it is helpful for current clinical debates and learning about updates on targeted therapies in the pipeline.

Shameless plug in general, I have been a member of IASLC for the past 5 years and on the Education Committee for as long. The membership for Allied Health Members is very reasonable ($50 a year) and is a great value. IASLC does "best of" webinars for many of the major lung cancer meetings throughout the year and these provide a good summary of the conferences without having to spend the money to attend.

Thanks for bringing this up! I've also struggled with the variety of conferences and what would be the most useful.

Also really appreciate bringing the allied membership to our attention, as this is also something I fail to check on different organizations. Just signed up!

I have found New York Lung, 21st Annual New York Lung Cancers Symposium® | PER to be a good one as well. It's a one day event, typically on Saturday (11/14/26) with a mix of didactic lectures and panels.

Another one I forgot about on the east coast is DC lung on 10/10/2026: https://medstar.cloud-cme.com/course/courseoverview?P=0&EID=48248

Never been but heard great things - also only a one-day event on the weekend so won't need clinic/service coverage to attend :)
